A same-age, small peer group provides a stable learning environment where children gain readiness skills for kindergarten.

Each day children have the opportunity to connect with teachers and friends in many situations and groupings. There are small group games and learning moments during free play, as well as partner and individual play. Teacher-led small group time focuses on acquiring specific skills in math and literacy. Large group games and activities happen outdoors and during our music time to develop language skills, cognitive skills, fine and gross motor and social-emotional growth.

• Each day there are 10 children with two teachers
• Our day begins with free play, which fosters decision-making skills, confidence, cooperative learning and ability to work in groups
• Children in Pre-K will be expected to develop the readiness skills of listening, taking turns, attending to tasks, completing class jobs and working as a team
• Through group projects and exploration we create a unique, exciting learning community to give children a great start to their education!
